“Get Up, My Soul” explores those times when even faithful people become exhausted, discouraged, and overwhelmed. Through Psalm 42 and the story of Elijah, we see that God doesn’t shame us in our lowest moments but meets us there with care. Sometimes faith means resting and allowing God to tend to our weary souls. The invitation is to speak hope to ourselves: “Get up, my soul. Hope in God.”
