The Open Pantry of Greater Lowell

WCUMC has been an active participant serving at the Open Pantry for over 10 years in our efforts to help fight food insecurity.   The Missions Committee organizes congregant members to support food drives.  Many congregant members donate time at the Open Pantry in Lowell filling orders for clients and helping receive food delivered from Greater Boston Food Bank. The Open Pantry’s mission is to relieve hunger in our community. The Open Pantry provides food assistance to individuals and families in need regardless of race, language, creed, religion or country of origin.  The Open Pantry of Greater Lowell is located at 13 Hurd St, Lowell, MA 01852.  Volunteers are always welcome to be a part of the team.  Call Maureen Peirce, Executive Director, at The Open Pantry at 978-453-6693.
