West Chelmsford United Methodist Church has provided special choir music for years to our congregation and community in the form of an impressive Cantata. This year's Christmas Cantata composed by Joel Raney features original music interspersed with familiar carols. This is a thirty-minute musical which re-tells the Christmas story from the vantage point of angels - from Gabriel's first appearance to Zacharias, to the glorious scene of angels appearing to the shepherds in the fields and filling the heavens singing "Gloria in excelsis Deo!" The range of musical styles reflects the various moods of the angels' scenes, making this a colorful musical tapestry of angel portraits. Please come on December 21st at 9:30 am and experience this beautiful Cantata!
