Each year our members write a devotional booklet. Here is what one member wrote:
Did you ever have a time in your life when you'd ask yourself, 'What happened? I used to be happy.
I used to wake up in the morning glad.'
In my quiet moments of reflection I tried to turn back to the time when I was most happy.
And I promised myself I'd try to recapture that memory and bring it again to the present.
That was the day when I started to look for a church. That's when I started to wake up and be glad again.
