The music ministry includes seven organized and regularly rehearsing choirs for all ages – both vocal and handbells.
It also includes many individuals who volunteer their time and talents to enhance the worship services.
Choir Notes
It’s time for the church music program to resume regular rehearsals for the fall.
The Festival Ringers– adult handbells – will meet on Wednesday 9/9/09 at 7:30pm.
There are no openings presently in this choir but if you might be interested in substituting at a rehearsal or learning
more about the handbells, please speak to Karen. This choir plays on the 4th Sunday of the month.
The Carol Choir and Joy Ringers – grades 2-6 handbells and singing – will meet on Thursday 9/10/09 at 6:30pm.
There is room in this choir for several new members this year.
They help to lead worship at our 11:00am Family Service on the 3rd Sunday of the month.
The Senior Choir– adult singers – will meet on Thursday 9/10/09 at 7:30pm.
They would love to have some new people join them to lead worship on the first Sunday of the month and at other selected services.
Are you able to make a commitment from September through Christmas Eve to start and try us out?
The Celebration Ringers– grades 7-12 handbells – will meet on Sunday 9/13/09 at 4:30pm.
The Celebration Singers – grades 7-12 – will meet on Sunday 9/13/09 at 5:45pm. The youth are invited to try either or both of these groups. There are openings in both choirs. They help to lead worship at both services on the 3rd Sunday of the month.
The Praise Choirmeets on the first Sunday of the month from 6:00-6:45pm
in the months when there is Contemporary Worship on the second Sunday. This multi-generational singing group leads
the congregation in our Contemporary Worship services accompanied by our
Praise Band which is under the direction of Steve Hunt.
