Faith Works Adult Day of Mission

West Chelmsford, Westford and Aldersgate United Methodist Churches invites you to

become part of their newest tradition, a combined Methodist Adult Day of Mission titled “Faith Works.” The date is Saturday May 14th, 2011 from 8:00- 4:30. Congregation sign-ups will start in January-February 2011. We are looking for Adult volunteers to devote a day of their time to help people from our Communities who need some assistance with household repairs, painting or yard work. This day is a wonderful way to join in fellowship with other Methodist churches as well.

Client referrals are obtained through Social service agencies, Senior Centers or personal requests and reviewed by our Combined Mission Committee. Clients selected will receive a call and a home visit the month before Faith Works Day to evaluate what they need done and if we can safely meet their needs. In April we will be looking for assistance with these home visits.
