Faith Works 2013
Faith Works is a day dedicated to assisting people in our communities with small jobs/ tasks and sharing fellowship amongst ourselves! West Chelmsford, Westford, Aldersgate and Centralville United Methodist Churches will be coordinating these projects again this year. We welcome anyone to join us!!
The date is Saturday May 4th, 2013 from 8:00- 3:30. We will start our day with a hearty breakfast at West Chelmsford UMC, hosted by WCUMC and Centralville UMC.
Congregation sign-ups will start in February 2013.
There will be a Participant Informational meeting on Tuesday April 30th 7pm at West Chelmsford UMC to meet your team mates and receive your client’s work request. Your presence is necessary at this meeting so please make every effort to attend! Thank you
Client referrals are obtained through Social service agencies, Senior Centers or personal requests and reviewed by our Combined Mission Committee. Clients selected will receive a call and a home visit the month before Faith Works Day to evaluate what they need done and if we can safely meet their needs. In April, we will be looking for assistance with these home visits.
