The choirs will be resuming their schedules very soon and there is room in all of them for new people to join us!
The Senior Choir meets on Thursday from 7:30-9:15 pm. We are particularly in need of altos and basses, but sopranos and tenors will be most welcome also. Rehearsals resume on 9/4/14 in the Choir Room. We will begin working on the Christmas Cantata!
The Festival Ringers meet on Wednesday from 7:30-9:00 pm. There are one or two openings in the group this fall. Some previous ringing experience would be helpful. Rehearsals resume on 9/3/14 in the Sanctuary.
The Celebration Ringers – grades 7-12 - meet on Sunday from 4:30-5:45 pm. There is room for more ringers in this group. Rehearsals resume on 9/14/14 in the Sanctuary.
The Celebration Singers – grades 7-12 - meet on Sunday from 5:45-6:30 pm. There is room for more singers in this group. Rehearsals resume on 9/14/14 in the Sanctuary.
The Carol Choir and Joy Ringers – grades 2-6 – meet on Thursday from 6:30-7:25 pm. We can accommodate any number of children in this program. We have several returning from last spring and would like to see many more participating in leading worship once a month.
Rehearsals resume on 9/11/14 in the Sanctuary.
The Occasional Ringers formed in the spring of 2013 as an outgrowth of the Community Learning Day class on handbells. The participants have continued to rehearse on no particular schedule – and played again in the worship service on July 13th. This group will continue to get together “occasionally” for rehearsals and play when ready. There is room for one to three more people who would like to learn handbell ringing from the beginning.
If you are interested in more information about any one of these choirs, please contact Karen E. Leonard, Minister of Music at 978-256-8404 or email@example.com. If you are planning to join any choir as a new member this fall, please let Karen know you are coming AHEAD of the first rehearsal so the appropriate materials are ready for you when you come.
We hope to welcome several new members to the music program this fall.
