Music Ministry

The choirs have resumed their schedules after a very successful Christmas season

The Senior Choir meets on Thursday from 7:30-9:15 pm. Singers in all voice parts are most welcome. We have already begun working on the Palm Sunday Cantata!

The Festival Ringers meet on Wednesday from 7:30-9:00 pm.

The Celebration Ringers – grades 6-12 - meet on Sunday from 4:30-5:45 pm.

The Celebration Singers – grades 6-12 - meet on Sunday from 5:45-6:30 pm.

The Carol Choir and Joy Ringers – grades K-5 – meet on Thursday from 6:30-7:25 pm.  This is a NEW CHANGE in AGE/GRADE for the spring season to accommodate our changing population of children.

The Occasional Ringers formed in 2013 as an outgrowth of the Community Learning Day class on handbells. The ringers rehearse typically once in November, March and May and then more regularly during the summer and play in a summer worship service. They have no particular schedule for rehearsing or ringing – but we will continue to get together “occasionally” and play when ready. This is a training choir for people who would like to learn handbell ringing from the beginning.

If you are interested in more information about any one of these choirs, please contact
Karen E. Leonard, Minister of Music at 978-256-8404 or music@wcumc.us.

The annual Celebration of Music program will be on March 12, 2016 at 7 pm in the Sanctuary. All the choirs will perform as well as some groups and soloists with congregational hymn singing included. Save the date!
